Gerad Donahue

Gerad completed his bachelor's degree in exercise science from South Dakota State University in 2012. He continued his education at Mayo Clinic earning his Doctorate in physical therapy in 2015. Following graduation Gerad was accepted into the Mayo Clinic Orthopedic Residency Program and received his Orthopedic Clinical Specialty shortly after. Gerad is also a certified Exercise physiologist through the ACSM and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA. Gerad has also attained certification in Dry Needling. Gerad focuses on educating patients to better understand their condition in order to optimize treatment, improve their overall health and prevent future injuries. Gerad enjoys treating athletes of all ages and getting patients back to the activities they love.
Gerad grew up in Nebraska and loves Husker football. He likes to spend his spare time with his wife, daughter and two newfoundland dogs enjoying the outdoors. He can also be found frequently in the gym training for powerlifting.
