Ray Mack
PT, MAE
Ray grew up in the Milwaukee area and attended Marquette University in 1977 where he earned his Physical Therapy degree. There, he had the privilege of working with the National Championship basketball program as a student athletic trainer. After clinical internships in New York City and a brief stint at Henry Ford Hospital, Ray returned to Milwaukee and worked at the VA for 8 years. Moving to the Manitowoc area 35 years ago, Ray pursued and obtained a master’s degree in Adult Education from Silver Lake College in 2000. His intervention specialties include, but are not limited to orthopedic physical therapy, prosthetics, bracing, spinal/pelvic rehabilitation, chronic pain management, aquatic physical therapy, and sports medicine.
While he primarily specializes in the non-operative treatment of orthopedic-related injuries of the spine and extremities, Ray has extensive experience working with non-traditional evidence-based manual interventions. His current area of interest/specialization is SI joint dysfunction.
Ray’s personal interests include photography, website development, history, learning theory, the psychology of learning, minimalist running/footwear, and aquatics.
