Allison Salm
OTR, CLT
Since graduating from UW-Madison in 2001 with Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy and a Certificate in Women’s Studies, and 2015 with a Certification in Lymphedema Management Therapy, Allison (Allie) has worked in multiple settings including long-term care, transitional inpatient rehab, and outpatient therapy.
She has a special interest in working with adults and senior adults, individualizing care by finding out what motivates the patient and what inspires them to live life to the fullest. Allison treats residents of Touchmark Senior Retirement Community for a variety of diagnoses; she also sees patients from the outlying community for lymphedema management and swelling related to vascular disease.
Allison is a mom to three active sons. She enjoys gardening, cooking, reading, biking, and coffee shops. In summer, she can be found sitting around the campfire or swimming in the lake up north.

Specialties include Lymphedema, pain management, wheelchair seating and positioning, upper extremity dysfunction, geriatrics, cognitive assessment, modern cupping therapy, and self-care retraining.
