virtual or in-person baseline concussion testing

Baseline Concussion testing is recommended for ALL athletes and for adults who participate in high-intensity sport/activity.

Why do we need a baseline test?

  1. It gives us a baseline for your or your child’s neurocognitive capabilities without an injury. This allows medical professionals to assess and address any post-injury changes and develop a specific treatment plan if an injury to the head happens.

  2. It can then help us track progress over time and ensure you or your child can return to play as safely as possible.

*Research shows that those who go to physical therapy as early as a couple of days following a concussion can decrease recovery time. This may result in an earlier return to play while following the proper protocols.

Can we do the baseline test at home?
